Technique introduction

UNIVERSTAR Medical Waste Continuous Pyrolytic Incineration is simple and easy to operate, with short cycle of treatment and high efficiency. The reduction rate can reach up to 90%. The incineration is the static incineration; therefore, the excess air coefficient is low, with less gas and flue dust, and low energy consumption. Continuous Pyrolytic Incineration Treatment of medical waste is used at home and aboard, and is considered the ideal way of medical waste treatment.

The incineration flows are as follows: Waste is thrown into the furnace by the feeding device, and the furnace starts to dry and carry out the pyrolysis once ignited. The pyrolysis flammable gas is burnt sufficiently in the secondary combustion chamber. Acid gas is turned into non-acid gas in semi-dry quenching acid-adsorption tower before entering into the Bag Dust Collector; then, active carbon powder is sprayed into the dust collector to get rid of the Dioxin. Then, the clean gas is discharged out of the chimney by the induced draft. The incineration principle is as follows: The main elements (C, H, O, Cl, S, P, and metal) in the waste have the chemical reaction in the combustion chamber: CxHyOz + O2 → CO↑+ H2O+CmHn; CxHyClz + O2 → CO↑+ HCl↑+ H2O+CmHn; CxHySz + O2 → CO↑+ SO2↑+ H2O+CmHn; P+O2 → P2O5; xMe+YO2 → MexOy. Then, use slaked lime to get rid of the sulfur and chlorine after the combustion reaction: HCl + Ca(OH)2 → CaCl2 + H2O; SO2+ Ca(OH)2 → CaSO3 + H2O; P2O5 + Ca(OH)2 → Ca3(PO4)2+ H2O. After a series of the above reactions, the medical waste is totally treated, which prevents the secondary pollution effectively.

System composition

Medical Waste Continuous Pyrolytic Incineration System is a continuous and complete process system, which is composed of feeding system, incinerator system, vent gas treatment system, exhaust system, ash-collecting system, automatic control system, alarm system, emergency handling system, and sewage treatment system.

The main devices of the system include: Feeding pipe, hydraulic tipping feeder, hydraulics, Pyrolysis oven, secondary combustion chamber, slag-drip device, oil -supply device, blower, lighter, combustion engine, emergency discharging chimney, emergency exhaust fan, cold furnace, cooling tower, semi-dry quenching acid-adsorption tower, Bag Dust Collector, compressor, active carbon powder/lime powder sprayer, induced draft, chimney, and the equipped pipe and ladders.

System features

1. Continuous pyrolysis incinerator is especially design for the medical waste. The combustion is complete, and meets the national “3T” requirements. The secondary combustion chamber is of special design that the inside chamber forms the three-dimensional swirling-rotating, which mixes the gas and oxygen sufficiently for above 2 seconds.

2. Use the mechanical feeding system to feed the materials, and the temperature control ignition to improve the combination, which is of high automatization and convenient operation.

3. The multi-points-ignition method can form the carbon char layer quickly to accelerate the pyrolysis of medical waste. This method shortens the pyrolysis time for nearly 1/3 of that of the like products at home, and lowers the operation cost than the like products at home.

4. Adopt the advanced vent-gas treatment device, that is, semi-dry quenching acid-adsorption + active carbon dusting + Bag Dust Collector; without secondary pollution and wastewater discharge; the gas discharge index are superior to the State discharging standards.

5. The temperature of outlet of the secondary combustion chamber is up to 850°C, and the residence time reaches 2 seconds. The waste can be completely decompounded.

6. The system is compact with proper configuration.

7. Adopt the advanced computer frequency-changing control; adjust the frequency of blower and induced draft in the first and secondary combustion chamber automatically according to the combustion situation to adjust the combustion condition, making the incinerator always under the operation of the set status.
